AIAD 2014 Annual Meeting and Elections

By-Laws: Section 3 - Election Publications

A. The Chapter shall publish a notice to the entire membership at least 20 days prior to the Annual Meeting. The notice shall restate the date, time and location for the meeting, list the nominations, shall provide background on the nominees, and shall give instructions for absentee ballot voting if there are contested positions.

Absentee Ballot Instructions

AIA Licensed Architects and Associate members may request an absentee ballot from the date of this announcement (10/24/2014) up to a week before the Annual Meeting (11/5/2014).  Ballots can be requested by contacting Lauren Myrand at  This email address is being protected from spambots. CALL FOR ENTRIES | House Tour Submissions Needed

The House Tour offers architects and designers an opportunity to showcase their work. You can be a part of the 2013 House Tour by entering your projects for consideration. You can enter as many residentioal projects as you want. The projects can be Single-Family or Multi-Family, and all types of design are welcome. The tour is open to new construction as well as recent renovations.

1. Must be designed by a current AIA member. 
2. Designer must be in good standing and satisfy section 2011(1) of the State of Michigan Licensing Act.
3. Must be located in the Metro-Detroit area.
4. Must be designed or renovated between Jan 1, 2009 and May 1, 2013.
